Information we collect
HowToVids stores the email address and topic you provide when you request learning updates. If you sign in, we may also store your account identifier, display name, saved videos, and subscription preferences.
How we use information
We use this information to operate your learning list, remember saved videos, deliver requested updates, maintain security, and improve the relevance and reliability of the service. We do not sell personal information.
YouTube and external services
Video pages use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedded player. YouTube may receive technical information when you play a video or interact with the player. Links to YouTube and creator channels are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage and Google AdSense to display advertising. These services may use cookies, device information, approximate location, and activity data to measure performance, prevent fraud, and personalize or limit ads according to your settings and applicable law. You can review or change Google advertising preferences through Google’s ad settings.
Data choices
You can remove saved videos and deactivate topic subscriptions from My learning. You may also request correction or deletion of account-related information by contacting the site owner.

We use reasonable safeguards and retain information only as long as it supports the service, legal obligations, and legitimate operational needs. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
